MTCC's RTL high-speed ferry runs Manadhoo–Maafaru twice a day, once late morning and once late afternoon, with no service at all on Fridays. The same two routes join Maafaru to every other inhabited island in Noonu, so this is how you move around the atoll, rather than a way in from Malé, which RTL does not serve. Last arrival of the day is mid-afternoon. Fare is the fixed per-person public rate, one-way.

Charter only. Nothing runs to a published timetable, and at roughly 180 km of open sea this is a long, weather-dependent run rather than a routine transfer. Guesthouses arrange it on request, and most guests fly instead. This is a charter fare for the whole boat, not a fixed per-person rate.

Maldivian is the sole operator into Maafaru International Airport, and the airport is on the island itself, so there is no boat leg after landing, just a short road transfer to the village. There is one Malé departure a day, early in the morning, and it makes one intermediate stop on the way. Maldivian also links Maafaru to Hanimaadhoo and Ifuru, which is useful if you are combining northern islands. Because the only Malé service leaves at breakfast time, an international flight landing in the evening means an overnight in Malé first. Fare is the fixed per-person one-way rate.
