MTCC's conventional dhoni ferry, (Dhiggaru-Kolhufushi), calling at Naalaafushi between Muli and Kolhufushi. It runs to Kolhufushi on Mondays only; the return sailing to Muli is a different route number and goes on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. This is the slow alternative to the speed ferry on the same Muli connection, and it only links up with a Maldivian flight that lands on a Monday morning. There is no conventional ferry between Male and Kolhufushi. No public fare is published for this route

MTCC's Meemu Atoll speed ferry, runs Male to Kolhufushi direct on Mondays and Wednesdays, calling at Dhiggaru, Maduvvari, Raiymandhoo, Veyvah, Mulah, Muli and Naalaafushi on the way in. Northbound it leaves Kolhufushi at 07:00 the same two days. One sailing a day in each direction, no Male service on the other five days. The same network also links Muli Airport island to Kolhufushi in 30-35 minutes on Saturdays, Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, which is the usual handoff from a Maldivian flight into Muli.

It is roughly 155 km of open sea from Male. No published rate was found for this island; charter boats on this run are priced for the whole boat, not per person.

Maldivian is the sole operator into Muli Airport (MUM), the nearest airstrip, Kolhufushi has no airport of its own, and this leg ends about 23 km short of the island. A separate boat leg finishes the journey; see the Scheduled Speedboat and Public Ferry rows, which run only four and one day a week respectively, and none of them meets the evening flight. Plan the boat first and book the flight around it.
