Maldivian is the sole operator into Kulhudhuffushi Airport (HDK), the nearest airstrip to Kumundhoo at about 7 km. The airport is on Kulhudhuffushi island, so this leg gets you close but not all the way. It connects to the scheduled speedboat row below, which is the only public boat onward. There are several rotations a day including late-evening arrivals, but the last boat to Kumundhoo leaves at 15:00, so anything after mid-afternoon means a night on Kulhudhuffushi. Fare is priced per person for one-way.
