MTCC's RTL network runs a direct boat from Hoarafushi, the airport island, straight to Maarandhoo - no change of vessel and no routing back through Male'. One sailing a day, in the morning, so a flight landing at 20:55 means a night in Hoarafushi first. Two other RTL routes also reach the island: one from Dhidhdhoo, the atoll capital, taking 75 minutes, and a through connection from Hanimaadhoo airport via Kulhudhuffushi taking about four hours including the change. Nothing runs on Fridays. Fare is priced per person for one-way.

Charter only, arranged through the accommodation or a local boat owner. There is no scheduled private service and no published rate. Worth the cost when the single daily RTL sailing does not line up with your flight, which is the usual case after the evening arrival into Hoarafushi. Any fare quoted will be charter fare, not a fixed per-person rate.

Maarandhoo has no airstrip. Maldivian is the sole operator into Hoarafushi (HRF), the nearest airport, about 17 km from the island; the RTL boat leg below completes the journey. There is one departure on each operating day and it leaves Male' in the evening, so you will normally sleep in Hoarafushi and take the morning boat across. Fare is priced per person for one-way.
