Scheduled Speedboat
From Hdh. Hanimaadhoo
1 hr 35 min • $11.67 per person
Daily
MTCC's RTL runs one sailing a day straight from the airport island to Ha. Dhidhdhoo, leaving at 14:30. This is the first of two sequential legs. At Dhidhdhoo you change to the 15:15 RTL sailing on to Kelaa, with about twenty minutes between them. Nothing later in the day connects, and the alternative routing via Hdh. Kulhudhuffushi costs the same but adds most of a day. This fare is the fixed per-person one-way public rate.
Not suited to late arrivals
Private Speedboat
From Hdh. Hanimaadhoo
Daily except Friday
A charter arranged through the guesthouse rather than a public operator, and the only way onto the island outside the single daily RTL sailing, including on Fridays when the RTL does not run and after an evening flight. This would be a charter fare for the whole boat, not a fixed per-person rate.

Domestic Flight
From Velana International Airport (Male')
1 hr • $224.24 per person
Daily
Maldivian is the sole operator, flying to Hanimaadhoo International (HAQ) in the next atoll south as Kelaa has no airstrip. So the flight is only the first half of the trip and you continue by sea. Hoarafushi (HRF) in this atoll is also served but sits further from Kelaa with no direct boat link. The last sea connection of the day leaves Hanimaadhoo at 14:30, so an evening flight means a night at Hanimaadhoo or Dhidhdhoo before going on. The fare is priced per-person one-way rate.
