Route 305 leaves Malé at 08:30 and reaches Mahibadhoo at 12:40; route 302 then leaves Mahibadhoo at 13:30 and reaches Omadhoo at 13:45, a 50-minute handoff. There is no direct Malé–Omadhoo sailing. Route 305 runs three days a week, so a missed connection means waiting two days for the next one. Going the other way, route 302 calls at Omadhoo at 09:50 and route 305 leaves Mahibadhoo at 11:00 on Sun, Tue and Thu. Fare is priced per person for one-way.

Chartered through the guesthouse and boarded at the airport jetty. It is the only way onto the island for a late-evening arrival, since every scheduled sailing leaves Malé by mid-afternoon. The same charter is what covers the 38 km from Villa Maamigili Airport if you come in by air rather than from Malé. Any fare quoted is a charter fare for the whole boat, not a fixed per-person rate.

Villa Air, is the sole operator into Villa International Airport Maamigili (VAM), the only airstrip in Alif Dhaal. VAM sits on Maamigili island, 38 km from Omadhoo, and no public boat links the two directly: the onward leg is a chartered speedboat or ferry route to Mahibadhoo and then on to Omadhoo, which leaves a wait of almost four hours. Travelling by sea from Malé is shorter and cheaper, and most visitors do that instead. Fare is priced per person for one-way.
